Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as basil parsley, or cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook it according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse it under cold water to cool it down.
  • Assemble the salad: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the vegetables, meat, cheese, and herbs of your choice.
  • Make the dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the dressing. You can use the dressing recipe I provided earlier or any other dressing recipe of your choice.
  • Toss the salad: Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss everything together until well combined.
  • Refrigerate the salad: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the pasta salad for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve: Take the pasta salad out of the refrigerator and give it a good stir before serving. You can garnish it with extra herbs or cheese if desired.
