Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts  cut into thin strips
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Green onions
  • 2 egg
  • tsp salt
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 Sheet seaweed
  • 4 Cup cooked sushi rice
  • vegetables cucumber, avocado, and carrot (cut into thin strips)

Instructions
 

  • Are all of the ingredients ready? Let’s start!
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, water, egg, and salt to create a tempura batter and set aside. Dip the chicken strips into the batter, making sure they are well coated.
  • Heat a deep fryer or a large, deep pot filled with oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).
  • Dip the battered chicken strips into the panko breadcrumbs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  • Carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the oil and drain it on a paper towel.
  • Lay seaweed on a flat surface. Spread a layer of cooked sushi rice over the seaweed, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Arrange the fried chicken strips and vegetables on top of the rice.
  • Roll the seaweed tightly around the filling, using a rolling mat or your hands to press and shape the roll. Repeat with the remaining seaweed sheets and filling ingredients.
  • Now cut the rolls into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife. Serve the chicken tempura roll with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
