Equipment

  • Baking sheet (for smashing)
  • Potato masher or flat-bottom glass
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs baby potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika optional
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Wash and boil baby potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes).
  • Drain and let them cool slightly.
  • Place potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash with a masher or glass.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Brush or drizzle the mixture evenly over the smashed potatoes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the potatoes in the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
