- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 2 cans 15 oz each baked beans
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional, for topping
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes).
Stir in baked beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
