- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade blend: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend
- 4 flour tortillas 8-inch size
- ½ cup pico de gallo fresh tomato, onion, cilantro, lime, jalapeño
- 2 tbsp sour cream optional
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
Place a portion of beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
Top with shredded cheese and pico de gallo.
Microwave or bake briefly until cheese melts.
Fold and serve warm with sour cream if desired.
