Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • ½ cup blue cheese crumbled (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional for brightness

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add crumbled blue cheese and whisk until melted and smooth.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Stir in lemon juice for added brightness (optional).
  • Serve warm over steak, burgers, wings, or as a dip
