Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 celery stalks diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp ranch seasoning
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced celery and onion, cooking until tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the veggies, stirring until absorbed.
  • Gradually pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Add shredded chicken, Buffalo wing sauce, salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning. Stir well.
  • Let the soup simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream or half-and-half.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
