Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 8 oz 225 g fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze or reduction
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  • On a serving platter, alternate slices of tomato, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
  • Drizzle extra virgin olive oil evenly over the arranged slices.
  • Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a sweet, tangy finish.
  • Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.
