- 200 g boneless chicken breast thinly sliced
- 200 g chow mein noodles or egg noodles
- 1 cup cabbage shredded
- 1 medium carrot julienned
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced
- 3 spring onions chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Boil the noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the wok. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper; stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
Return chicken to the wok and toss with vegetables.
Add cooked noodles and pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
Stir-fry everything together for 2–3 minutes until evenly coated.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
