- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; whisk until combined.
Mix in baking soda and salt. Gradually fold in flour until just combined.
Gently fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
