Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 oz
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta: Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook chicken: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and half of the ranch mix. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Prepare sauce: Lower heat and add cream cheese, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add cheese: Mix in shredded cheddar cheese and the remaining ranch seasoning. Stir until melted.
  • Combine: Add cooked penne and bacon to the sauce. Mix well to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and extra bacon bits if desired. Serve hot.
