- 1 can 14.75 oz cream-style corn
- 1 can 15.25 oz whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
- 1 box corn muffin mix
- 1-2 large eggs
- 1 chopped onion optional
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir to form a paste. Slowly whisk in cream, stirring to avoid lumps.
