Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground pork sausage or any preferred sausage, such as hot for extra heat
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese sharp cheddar recommended
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: chopped scallions or bell peppers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, crumble the sausage and mix with the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add Bisquick, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder, mixing until fully combined. Optionally, add scallions or bell peppers.
  • Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
