- Beef chuck roast or bottom round cut into bite-sized pieces
- Carrots chopped
- Celery chopped
- Onions chopped
- Potatoes red and Yukon gold, diced
- Mushrooms sliced
- Garlic minced
- Flour

- Paprika
- Fresh thyme

- Bay leaves
