Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage casings removed
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • cups pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 pre-made deep-dish pie crust or homemade
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Place the pie crust into a deep-dish pan and spoon half of the meat mixture into it.
  • Add a layer of pepperoni and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat with remaining meat mixture, pepperoni, and cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
