- 1.5 cups orzo
- 1 large red pepper sliced
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Cook orzo in chicken stock, following package instructions.
In a large frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Brown and crumble sausage.
Add red pepper, onion, and garlic, sautéing until soft (5-7 minutes).
