Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves roasted or minced fresh
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for lighter version
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter with olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes (or roast beforehand for milder flavor).
  • Pour in broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and reduce heat to low.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm over pasta, chicken, seafood, or veggies.
