Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup warm water

Instructions
 

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water; let it sit until frothy.
  • Combine milk, sugar, butter, egg, and salt in a bowl. Add yeast mixture.
  • Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth.
  • Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Punch down, shape into rolls, and place on a baking sheet. Let rise again.
  • Bake at 375°F for 10–15 minutes.
  • Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
