Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar optional for balance
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional for depth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water optional, for thickening

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Cook for 5–7 minutes until flavors blend.
  • For a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil (optional).
  • Let cool slightly before using as a marinade, glaze, or dipping sauce.
