Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey/beef
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of salt and cayenne pepper
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 large head of lettuce butter lettuce or romaine works best

Instructions
 

  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground chicken and cook until browned and crumbled, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Stir in minced red onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
  • Add hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  • Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. Add a splash of chicken stock if you prefer a saucier mixture.
  • Stir in chopped green onions and a squeeze of lime juice.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce leaves, serve with lime wedges, and optional extra hot sauce.
