Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Jack Daniels whiskey
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup onion finely minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  • Add Jack Daniels whiskey and simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce alcohol.
  • Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire, and spices.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Serve warm as a glaze, dip, or basting sauce.
