- ½ cup Jack Daniels whiskey
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup onion finely minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for heat
In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Add Jack Daniels whiskey and simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce alcohol.
Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire, and spices.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Serve warm as a glaze, dip, or basting sauce.
