Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water slurry
  • 1 tsp sesame oil optional, for depth

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, ginger, garlic, and zest.
  • Whisk together and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens (about 2–3 minutes).
  • Add sesame oil if desired for richer flavor.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess as needed.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
