- 2 Ahi Tuna Steaks
- 2 tbsp Mustard Paste
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp Grated Ginger
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Green Onions sliced
- Kosher Salt and Black Pepper
Marinade: Combine soy sauce, mustard, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Marinate Tuna: Coat tuna steaks in the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Coat Tuna: Cover steaks with sesame seeds after marinating.
Heat Skillet: Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear Tuna: Sear each side of the tuna for 1-2 minutes, leaving the inside rare.
