Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs optional for extra crunch
  • 1 tsp lemon zest optional, for added freshness

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • Prepare the Sprouts:
  • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  • Toss with Seasonings:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Add Parmesan and Breadcrumbs:
  • Spread the sprouts onto the baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle Parmesan and panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  • Bake to Perfection:
  • Roast for 16–18 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and the Parmesan is golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve:
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle with lemon zest (if desired), and serve warm.
