- Lasagna:
- 12 lasagna noodles cooked al dente
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 6 slices turkey bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Seasonings: garlic powder onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika
Cook the Turkey and Bacon: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion softens. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in crumbled bacon.
Cook the Lasagna Noodles: Boil lasagna noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Assemble the Lasagna: In a 9x13 baking dish, layer marinara sauce, noodles, turkey and bacon mixture, ricotta cheese, and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Top with marinara, grated Parmesan, and mozzarella cheese.
Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
