Ingredients
  

  • Wonton wrappers 24 pieces
  • Ground pork 6 oz
  • Medium shrimp 8, ground
  • Fresh ginger 1 tsp, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Rice wine or dry sherry 1 tbsp
  • Light brown sugar 1 tsp
  • Chicken stock 6 cups
  • Chicken breast sliced
  • Spinach fresh
  • Scallions 1 tsp, finely chopped
  • Mushrooms and water chestnuts optional
  • Sesame oil and white pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Filling: Mix pork, shrimp, ginger, soy sauce, rice wine, and sugar in a bowl.
  • Assemble Wontons: Add filling to wrappers, wet edges, fold, and seal.
  • Cook Wontons: Boil chicken stock and cook wontons for 4-5 minutes until they float.
  • Add Ingredients: Add chicken slices, spinach, and optional mushrooms or chestnuts.
  • Season and Serve: Add sesame oil and white pepper. Garnish with scallions and serve hot.
