Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cornish hens about 1-1.5 lbs each
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
  • Season the Hens: Pat the hens dry and rub them with a mixture of salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Stuff the Hens: Carefully stuff each hen with the cheese mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  • Prep for Roasting: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed hens in a roasting pan.
  • Cook the Hens: Brush the hens with olive oil. Roast for 50-60 minutes, basting occasionally. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Finish and Serve: Let the hens rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and chives before serving.
