Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water slurry
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp chili flakes optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the cornstarch slurry, whisking until sauce thickens.
  • Sprinkle in toasted sesame seeds and chili flakes if using.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Toss with crispy chicken, drizzle over rice bowls, or use as a stir-fry sauce.
