- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 medium potatoes diced small
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced potatoes and cook until golden brown and tender, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
Add tomato sauce, paste, Worcestershire, brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Return potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
