Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 medium potatoes diced small
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced potatoes and cook until golden brown and tender, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  • Add tomato sauce, paste, Worcestershire, brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Return potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
