Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 4 oz goat cheese or cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tsp honey optional
  • Fresh basil leaves chopped (for garnish)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Toast in oven for 7–8 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Spread a thin layer of goat cheese or cream cheese over each toasted slice.
  • Top with diced strawberries.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and a touch of honey if desired.
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Serve immediately on a platter.
