Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 French baguette sliced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove optional, minced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice the baguette into thin, even slices. Toast the slices in the oven for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  • Blend the ricotta cheese, lemon zest, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and minced garlic (if desired).
  • Spread or pipe the whipped ricotta onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Optionally, finish with an extra sprinkle of lemon zest and a drizzle of olive oil.
