- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 French baguette sliced
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 garlic clove optional, minced
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and slice the baguette into thin, even slices. Toast the slices in the oven for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
Blend the ricotta cheese, lemon zest, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and minced garlic (if desired).
Spread or pipe the whipped ricotta onto each toasted baguette slice.
