Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream for richer sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
  • Slowly whisk in milk (or cream), ensuring no lumps remain.
  • Simmer for 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook for another 1–2 minutes until creamy and smooth.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
