  • For the Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Baking sheet
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Prepare the Meatballs:
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form into evenly-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  4. Cook the Meatballs:
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
  6. Transfer them to a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until fully cooked.
  7. Make the Gravy:
  8. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to create a roux.
  9. Gradually add beef broth while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
  10. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
