Ingredients

  • 1 Pound frozen crab legs
  • 1 cup purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Method

  1. Thaw the crab legs by placing them in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight, or by running them under cold water until they are thawed.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third shallow bowl, place the bread crumbs.
  5. Heat a large saucepan or deep fryer filled with vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Coat each crab leg in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in bread crumbs. Repeat with all of the crab legs.
  7. Carefully place the coated crab legs into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  8. Remove the crab legs from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve the fried crab legs hot with your choice of dipping sauce. Enjoy!
