Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened for easy spreading
  • 3 oz Smoked salmon chopped for added protein
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill minced for a pop of herby freshness
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder to enhance taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper for a hint of spice
  • 2 Cucumbers large English cucumber preferable for their seedless nature

Instructions
 

  • Using a vegetable peeler or mandoline, create very thin slices of cucumber lengthwise. Aim to avoid the seeds to ensure the slice remains intact without excess moisture.

  • After slicing, use paper towels to pat the cucumber slices dry. This helps to secure the filling and prevents the rolls from becoming soggy.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese with your choice of flavor enhancer – dill or horseradish work well. Add garlic powder and a pinch of black pepper to taste.

Assembly

  • Lay a cucumber slice on a clean surface.
  • Spread a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture along the center.
  • Roll them Up: Gently roll the cucumber over the filling, creating a tight log. Secure the roll with a toothpick if necessary.

Serving:

  • Once all rolls are prepared, arrange them elegantly on a plate.
  • If desired, chill the cucumber rolls before serving to enhance the taste.
