Whisk
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 slices ham
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Flatten chicken breasts with a meat mallet to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Place a slice of ham and Swiss cheese on each chicken breast and roll tightly, securing with toothpicks if needed.
Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown chicken rolls on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until sauce thickens slightly.
Pour creamy sauce over baked chicken rolls.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
