Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken:
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • For the Honey Pepper Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • For the Mac and Cheese:
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powde

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in egg, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir and simmer until thickened slightly.
  • Coat Chicken: Toss the fried chicken pieces in the honey pepper sauce until evenly coated.
  • Make the Cheese Sauce: In another saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and whisk for 1 minute. Gradually pour in milk and cream, whisking until smooth and thickened.
  • Add Cheese: Stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted. Season with salt and garlic powder.
  • Combine: Mix cooked macaroni with cheese sauce until coated.
  • Assemble: Top mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken pieces. Garnish with extra pepper or chopped parsley if desired.
